A re-elected Malinauskas Labor Government has a plan to transform how women across our state access primary care, fertility support and reproductive health services.

Women experience health, illness and health care differently to men. They make up half of our population, yet their specialist health needs have historically been underfunded, undervalued or difficult to access.

Without proper health advice and support, South Australian women are often left in ongoing pain and discomfort while waiting for a new treatment plan or medication.

That is why a re-elected Malinauskas Labor Government will commit $33 million to enhance women's care in SA, transforming how women across our state access primary care, fertility support and reproductive health services.

Labor's Plan to Support Women's Health includes:
  • Establishing five Women’s Health Clinics to deliver free services
  • Launching South Australia’s first ever Virtual Pelvic Pain Clinic
  • Improving pain management for intrauterine device (IUD) procedures
  • Launching a major public health endometriosis awareness campaign
  • Introducing a publicly funded IVF rebate scheme for the first time in South Australia
