South Australia is experiencing its strongest period of economic growth ever. The expansion of naval shipbuilding, the commencement of AUKUS, major infrastructure investment and a booming minerals sector mean our state is entering an unprecedented time of opportunity.
By 2031, South Australia will reach two million people, and every one of them will need a place to call home.
To deliver on the economic opportunity before us, we will need to build more houses each year, every year, from now on. Building more houses will deliver homes for South Australians and put much needed capacity back into the market.
