Matthew Marozzi

I'm the proud son of migrant parents — my dad from Italy’s Marche region and my mum from the Philippines — who came to Australia chasing a better life for their kids.

They made their home in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs, where mum worked as a cleaner and dad as a council worker. Thanks to their hard work, I was able to go to university and buy my first home in Campbelltown.

My dad, Marino, was a big part of our local community — coaching soccer, training horses, helping maintain our streets and parks. He passed away from lung cancer at just 64, but I carry his passion for giving back with me every day.

I’m still involved locally through the Marche Club and playing footy for CBC Old Collegians. Like Premier Peter Malinauskas, my family’s story shaped who I am — and I’m running to be your voice in Parliament to help build the same opportunities for others that my family worked so hard to give me.
