Biography
Zoe Bettison was elected to the South Australian Parliament as the Member for Ramsay on the 11th of February 2012. Her father worked for BHP as a fitter and turner before becoming a small business owner and her mother was a kindergarten teacher. She is passionate about learning and has a strong interest in education, training and business investment. Participation in the economy for all South Australians is a key driver for her interest in politics. Zoe has a BA from Flinders University and a MBA from the University of Adelaide. Her employment experience includes industrial relations, ALP official and public affairs. Her first job was weighbridge clerk for the Kapunda silos.

Alexander Maurice Ramsay (1914-1978) was General Manager of the South Australian Housing Trust for 25 years, prominent in community affairs and devoted his talents to the improvement of South Australian life.
